Okay so yellow nails are EVERYWHERE right now! I am constantly seeing them all over Instagram and Pinterest. There is something about how happy and bright your nails can look when they are yellow. Like that is what the whole point of spring manicures is anyway?
There are like a million ways to do yellow nails for spring. You could do soft and subtle with pastels or go super bold and bright with sunny yellow! Above I will be showing you different yellow nail designs that are currently dominating my feed and honestly my own nail art endeavors. Yellow isn’t just for daisies anymore – although I did include lots of those because they’re adorable.
Sparkly Daisy French Tips

I started with neutral colored French tips and then went with yellow tips. There were rhinestones on the accent nails that made daisies and they were literally SPARKLY!!! I wore these to a party and everyone asked about them!! I felt like I was wearing garden party vibes! The sparkles also make them catch the light and its literally just beautiful! You could wear them to work every day if you wanted to which is cool.
Dainty Daisy French

Then I decided to go with a more subtle version of the same design with painted daisies instead of rhinestones. The base color is still neutral and the tips are still yellow (just like before) but the daisies are less prominent. If you work somewhere that has dress code restrictions on nail polish, then these are the perfect choice! I really like how sweet and simple these are. You still get to have fun with your nails without having to go wild with them.
Polka Dot French Tips

These are just plain old yellow French tips with little white dots. Simple and clean. The dots make them even cuter! Sometimes, you don’t have to put a lot of stuff on your nails. I’d totally wear these to brunch. They’ll go with like 90% of everything in your wardrobe.
Pastel Rainbow Stripes

Pastel rainbow stripes on top of an almond shaped yellow base! Pastel colors that scream Easter eggs, but make them cute. The pastel colors all work really well together. The almond shape makes them look fancy. Every time I look at these, I literally smile lol. They’re happy nails.
Yellow French with Garden Blooms

This one is similar to the first, but instead of placing flowers on the tips of your fingers, they place them near your cuticles instead. Its different from typical French tips. The flowers are so delicate and feminine! I like how the yellow tips sort of frame the flowers. Its keeps things interesting when you flip the normal placement.
Sunny Yellow with Blue & Pink Florals

Full yellow nails are literally the best okay. These have bright yellow all over the nails. Then there’s blue and pink flowers on one of the nails. The contrast is literally CHEF’S KISS!!! They remind me of a field full of flowers in the spring. Very natural and whimsical. They’re very cheerful and pretty.
Colorful Garden Party Nails

Same idea, but with even more colors in the flowers. I see pink, blue, and maybe even coral?! The yellow makes all of those colors POP LIKE CRAZY!!! Festival season needs these nails. Or you could just wear them everyday and feel like the main character.
Multi-Color Floral Explosion

Okay, these may be my favorite out of the entire post. So many colors in the flowers! And the detail is literally insane! Against that bright yellow background, its PERFECT! Very maximalist which I love. If you like color and expressing yourself through your nails, these are the ones.
Bright Yellow and Neutral Base Garden Nails

For girls who prefer something more subtle in their base color mixed with bright yellow. The neutral color is soft. The yellow and floral colors are the focus here! The details on the flowers make them resemble hand-painted art! I think these go with more outfits than you’d realize. Very versatile for different situations.
Botanical Yellow with Green Leaves

The green leaves and yellow flowers on this nail make it feel extremely botanical. I love the detail in the leaf shapes! It makes it feel more realistic and 3D. Your fingertips literally look like a mini-garden. Very spring-inspired.
Soft Pastel Floral Accents

If bright yellow isn’t for you, that’s okay! Pastel yellow is softer and prettier. The flowers are pastel too, making them all match perfectly. Wedding season would be perfect for these. Any occasion that calls for pretty but not obnoxious nails.
Neon Pink Florals on Yellow

Yellow and pink are literally meant to be paired together for spring. A bright yellow base with pink flowers that look like roses. The flowers are painted beautifully! I like how this combination is simple yet creates a big impact! Using a bunch of colors can sometimes be overwhelming.
Pastel Purple Polka Dot Fun

You don’t always have to do flowers for spring. Yellow with purple polka dots is FUN! Its kinda retro too which I enjoy. Purple and yellow are opposite each other, but they complement each other well. I’d totally wear these to a vintage fair or an artistic market.
Classic White Flower Accents

White and yellow are a super fresh pair. White flowers are located on the accent nails. Elegant and classic! They won’t look outdated by next month, unlike some trendier designs. Its probably the safest option, but still really pretty. Not boring at all.
Yellow & Pink Combo Nails

This combines solid yellow and solid pink nails. Then adds flowers to tie them together! Alternating colors is way more fun than using the same color all over. It keeps your eyes moving back and forth. The flowers tie both colors together so it doesn’t look awkward.
Bright Yellow Painted Florals

These are literally just adorable. The bright yellow is SO HAPPY AND BRIGHT!!! Painted flowers have a watercolor effect, kinda. If you’re always smiling and spreading positive energy, then these will match that. Great “happy” nails.
Long Almond White Flower Elegance

Nail length gives you more room to play with designs. The white daisies look fancy and elegant! Length makes them feel more classy than short nails, in my opinion. Prom or graduation would be perfect for these. Or just wear them to make yourself feel like the main character every single day!
Skinny French with Daisy Accents

Another neutral and skinny yellow french tip situation. The white daisies are on these and they’re painted really nicely! The neutral base goes with ANYTHING. Work dates, family dinner, whatever. It’s just that “I tried, but not too hard” vibe you know?
Short and Sweet Daisy Nails

Not everyone likes long nails. These shorter yellow nails with daisies are just as cute! Easier to type and do stuff with. You still get to have fun with your nails while keeping them short! Short nails can show off designs better than longer nails since it’s all concentrated.
Square Daisy Vibes

Square is literally the best shape for most people. These yellow nails with white daisies look AMAZING in this shape! Very modern and fresh. Spring is a great time to try square shape if you’ve never done it before.
Stiletto Floral Glam

Stiletto nails are bold. Not everyone can pull them off. If you can though, GO FOR IT! A neutral base with yellow and white flowers looks DRAMATIC! Totally fashion-forward. These nails will give you runway-model vibes. I’m seriously obsessed with how extra they are.
Abstract Swirl Accent

Spring doesn’t always have to mean flowers. These yellow nails have abstract swirls on them! Super artsy and unique. The swirls are like marble or something, so fluid! REALLY eye-catching and different. If you like modern art more than flowers, this is the one.
Blue Polka Dot Pop

Yellow nails with blue polka dots to wrap up the list. SO FUN AND RETRO!!! Blue and yellow bring to mind summertime and beach days. Although it’s spring, I like it. The dots are clean and evenly spaced which counts. Messy dots can ruin the whole thing honestly.
