Winter is here, and I for one like it. My heat bill may be getting bigger but all these new winter trends are coming in and it just makes me so happy! Especially when it comes to new shiny winter nail colors.
The nail color trends this winter are soo pretty. Sparkles and white ones and dark ones, all the good stuff. There’s just something about a nail polish collection refresh evry season ( even if you just get one new bottle) – it’s just happiness.
We made a list of colors that are becoming super trendy right now, as we head into winter. For parties or just for everyday wear, these colors are really good.
Get your topcoat ready, and let’s start.
Glittery Blue
Glittery blue makes me think of ice and also parties and festive period! It sparkles so beautifully. Winter feels special with this color, it’s not boring in any way.
When light hits it, your nails look literally like winter wonderland magic. You get to have sparkles without doing the whole red and green Christmas thing.
These glittery blue polishes are good:
Pearl White
Pearl white is that magical shiny white that looks like it has a chrome finish. you can also get some pearly white polishes which will change colors slightly depending on different light. Sometimes it looks white and sometimes pink or blue or purple, I can never tell which one it’ll be.
Its fancy but not too fancy. Like you have good taste but are also chill about it, you know.
Try these polishes:
- Cirque Colors in Moonbeam
- OPI in Glazed N’ Amused | Sheer Soft White Pearl
- Essie Expressie in Pass The Fit Check
Burgundy
Burgundy is on the winter list too, it works for fall and winter both. Deep and rich , this color will go perfectly with everything in your winter closet. Sweaters and coats and that dress you never wear but keep anyway.
Its just a really good color okay, it makes you look effortlessly stylish, I love it and everyone should try some winter burgundy polishes:
Black
Black nails give cool. They give moody. They give not afraid to do my own thing. And we’re totally here for that energy this winter.
People say black is too dark sometimes, but I think that’s wrong – black nails are pretty and make you feel like a rockstar even if you can’t sing. It’s a great ‘reset’ nails color for when you’re just overwhelmed with all the sparkly and colorful designs and choices.
Stunning black nail polishes to sample:
Milky White
When in doubt, go milky white. It’s literally so perfect for winter, matching all the white you see around you, whether it’s snow on the ground or your white oversized sweater.
Works on short nails or long nails whatever you got. And its neutral so you can wear it anywhere but it still look like you tried. Somethign about a good milky white nail polish just makes you look instantly elegant.
Some milky white polishes to try:
Rose Gold
Rose gold is that perfect mix between pink and gold mixed together, and it’s so pretty on everyone. You can go for rose gold shimmer, rose gold chrome, or full on rose gold glitter polish – all of these are beautiful choices for winter.
It goes with both gold jewelry and silver jewelry, which is good because if you never know which one to pick.
Rose gold vibes I like:
Deep Navy Blue
Midnight blue don’t get enough love. Its dark, almost black but more interesting, mysterious but nice at the same time.
Goes with everything, jeans and black and gray, and even other blues too. Winter color without being too obvious about being a winter color.
Try these navy ones:
Silver
We all know abouyt silver chrome, but lately I’m spotting a lot of cute shimmery silver nail polishes too, which is awesome as it’s easier than doing the whole chrome powder thing and then praying to nail gods it turns out smooth and not patchy.
Silver gives ice queen vibes in the best way possible. This color are perfect for special occasions like New Years but you can wear it whenever you want because why wait? Life is short so just wear the sparkly nails now.
